MAC Medical is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to create and maintain the design of our products. The Mechanical Design Engineer develops and improves the engineering methods.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
  • Implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information
  • Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications
  • Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications
  • Develop the structural design of products using SolidWorks CAD program
  • Provide feedback to management on customer problems and needs
  • Recommend and implement design modifications
  • Estimate costs and submit bids for engineering
  • Write performance requirements for product developed on engineering projects
  • Performs other duties as assigned

This position does not offer relocation assistance. We are looking for local candidates within a 50 mile radius of Belleville, IL.
