Work in Millstadt, IL in a climate controlled facility.

SUMMARY:

The Employee Retention and Recruitment Specialist will serve as a liaison between Human Resources, and the Training Director when applicable. The position will provide information and support services to new hires that could include the following: mentoring, career planning and development as well as training, cross training, and job transitions. The Employee Retention and Recruitment Specialist will have responsibilities including recruitment, oversight of new employees, interns, apprentices, onboarding, training, developing training resources and documents, coordination and facilitating training. This candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, extremely organized and fully prepared with training material delivery. A well-qualified candidate will have the ability to remain focused and be able to orchestrate effective and engaging training. This position works with Human Resources to recruit, and the Training Director to develop, and retain a strong work force.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc.
  • Screen candidates resumes, conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates.
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, aptitudes, and competency.
  • Onboard new employees to become fully integrated.
  • Work with HR to define and implement MAC Medical recruiting and employment strategies.
  • Identify training needs based on analysis.
  • Review, update, and revise job descriptions for existing and new positions.
  • Develop strategies and policies to correct deficiencies in the training program.
  • Develops group and individual learning courses and manage training budget
  • Identify key contributors for turnover and develop an Employee retainment plan.
  • Develop and follows relevant procedure to ensure Training Records are documented and tracked.
  • Assist with identifying and assessing knowledge and skill gaps within the organization.
  • Assist with creation of curriculum, training materials and testing materials for employees.
  • Work with Production Managers and Leads on strategic training for ramp up Training.
  • Identify and communicate root cause and plan of action for training improvements.
  • Effectively track, evaluate, and analyze training programs by examining learner’s satisfaction, proficiency testing and job performance.
  • Aware of and comply with the Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job position.
  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, and good attention to detail are needed.
  • Experience and ability to prioritize work, quickly change/adapt to changes and multi-task.
  • Understand current federal and state labor laws, with a high emphasis on youth ages.
  • Capable to work with limited supervision and to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Must be able to document and provide informational feedback to managers.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office

SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or Human Resources or experience in a progressive HR position in lieu of degree.
  • At least 2 years HR experience or other similar experience preferred.
  • Onboarding experience.
  • Knowledge of State/Federal employment laws.
  • 1-2 years of experience in recruiting and training.

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
