Polisher

You would be responsible for grinding and polishing stainless-steel products, matching work orders to product, completing required documentation for product and inspecting finished product to ensure products meet quality standards.

 

You’ll be a great fit if you like too:

• Safely operate hand tools for grinding and polishing
• Polish metal component to ensure welds are smooth and ready for the paint process.
• Use various hand tools and power tools.
• Ensure quality throughout the production process while maintaining a safe, clean workspace.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Work 4 (10hr) days a week, Monday-Thursday

To be considered you’ll need:

• Ability to use hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Ability to use a grinder and polisher.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to read and understand basic shop drawings, specifications, and parts lists.
• You will need to pass Skills Assessment for Power Tools.

 

Physical Functions:

• Continuously standing, walking, bending, squatting, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and twisting in the normal course of work.
• Frequently lifting, handling, and maneuvering 85 lbs.
• Frequently using hands. Seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand or hands.
• Hand eye coordination in the normal course of work using hand/power tools.
