Quality Assurance Inspector
The Quality Assurance Inspector will support current production, new product introductions and quality related initiatives. Ensures products being produced meet internal production standards and FDA and/or ISO Regulations. Visually inspect parts and products, document information, and/or reject or release items according to requirements. The Quality Assurance Inspector/Auditor works independently and as a team member with other departments, including Production, Engineering, Technical Service, Logistics, Purchasing, etc. Must have excellent computer skills, especially with Excel.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Ensure quality standards meet requirements on all manufactured goods
• Inspect product both in process and finished product
• Inspect and/or examine incoming consumables/materials from suppliers and release for production
• Inspect components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies
• Perform quick visual inspections throughout the production process to ensure quality standards are being maintained/met in each department at all levels of the process
• Must be able to read and understand product prints/specifications and quality control manuals
• Perform tests using instruments and equipment such as thermometers, voltmeters, etc., measure, and analyze products
• Conduct internal audits to ensure company is meeting the standard codes in the manufacturing process (FDA – CFR 21, ISO 9001:2008)
• Record pass/fail grade of products in Quality Inspection Databases
• Produce detailed reports

- High school or equivalent
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Sheet Metal Inspection: 1 year
- Quality Assurance Inspector, Quality Control: 1 year
- Finished Product Inspection: 1 year
- FDA and/or ISO e: 1 year
